I have always enjoyed catamarans for their space and comfort. You get a lot of boat for your money and they go over especially well with new sailors in your group. Performance-orientated cruiser, with a length overall midway between the legendary 26 and 32, the Contessa 28 fits the vacant niche in more ways than one. Unsurprisingly more roomy than her smaller sister, the available accommodation more closely matches that of the 32.
